Ingredients
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 2 1/2 c. celery
- diced
- 1 1/4 c. onions
- minced
- 2 1/2 c. potatoes
- diced
- 2 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 (# 10) can cream style corn
- 2 1/2 quarts. lowfat milk
- 1 (# 5) can tomato soup
- Salt
- pepper as needed
- 1 tbsp. chicken base
Instructions
- Heat shortening and cook onions and celery till tender.
- Put in potatoes and water and cook till tender.
- Put in corn and salt.
- Bring to boil.
- Add in tomato soup and chicken base.
- Season.
- Heat, but don't bring to a boil.
- Serves 50.
