Ingredients
- 6 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 sticks melted butter
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 3 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. lukewarm lowfat milk
- 2 Packages dry yeast
- dissolved in the lowfat milk
Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients into large bowl.
- Mix remaining ingredients well and add in slowly to flour mix, while stirring.
- Add in sufficient extra flour so dough can be handled and gently kneaded till it is not sticky.
- Return dough to greased bowl and let it rise in a hot place till double in size.
- Gently press dough down and divide into 6 pcs.
- Roll each piece to 1/4 inch thickness.
- Spread with nut filling.
- Roll, jelly roll fashion; healthy pinch ends.
- Place seam side down on greased pan.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 min or possibly until golden.
