Ingredients
- 6 ounce. long grain and wild rice
- 1 1/2 c. celery
- minced
- 1 1/2 c. mushrooms
- sliced
- 1/2 c. butter
- 8 ounce. packaged herb seasoned stuffing
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 (2 ounce.) jar pimientos
- sliced & liquid removed
- 1/2 c. parsley
- minced
Instructions
- Cook rice as directed.
- While rice is cooking, saute/fry celery and mushrooms in butter.
- Add in warm water to stuffing mix and add in mix to cooked rice, along with celery and mushrooms.
- Add in pimientos and parsley.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 min.
- Use as stuffing for turkey or possibly prepare as a side dish.
