Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 2 cups flour
  • all-purpose
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons herbs fresh
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons margarine

Instructions

  1. Grease 12 muffin cups with 1 tablespoon margarine.
  2. Heat oven to 450F (230C).
  3. Combine in a mixing bowl flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  4. Add chopped herbs.
  5. Combine remaining ingredients and add all at once to flour Stir just enough to moisten.
  6. Batter will be lumpy.
  7. Fill muffin cups 23 full.
  8. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
