Ingredients
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs (white)
- 1 1/2 lbs. cured ham
- grnd
- 1 pound fresh lean pork
- grnd
- 2 Large eggs
- beaten
Instructions
- Scald the lowfat milk and pour it over bread crumbs.
- Add in to meat and mix thoroughly till no bread crumbs show.
- Add in Large eggs and mix again.
- Put into 9 x 5 inch loaf pan, then set loaf pan into shallow pan containing warm water at least 1 inch deep.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 2 hrs.
- If loaf browns too much, cover meat with foil.
- Pour off fat and excess juice.
- Serve plain or possibly with cranberry sauce.
- Serves 8.
