Ingredients

  • 2 slices of hearty white bread (I use Pepperidge Farm)
  • 1-2 slices of fatfree/2% fat American Cheese
  • 1/4 of a small onion- cut into rainbow strips
  • 1-2 tsp Tikka Masala paste (I use Pataks Brand)
  • coarse black pepper
  • PAM cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Spray skillet with and set on medium-low heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and black pepper.
  3. Saute until translucent and soft.
  4. Spray one side of each slice of bread with .
  5. On the un-sprayed side put a thin layer of tikka paste on each slice.
  6. Place 1 slice of cheese on each side.
  7. After the onions are finished, place on only one side of the bread.
  8. Put the other side over to make a sandwich.
  9. Spray your skillet again, and place on medium-low heat.
  10. Place the sandwich carefully, and toast until the cheese is melted, flipping only once.
  11. Each side should have a nice golden brown color.
  12. Serve with reduced-fat kettle cooked chips and a coke zero, and you have yourself a healthy and hearty meal!
