Grandma's Mother's Chili Sauce
Ingredients
- 30 tomatoes (large
- ripe)
- 6 peaches
- 6 pears
- 6 apples
- 4 large onions (green
- though red or other may be substituted) or 3 bell pepper (green
- though red or other may be substituted)
- 1 bunch celery
- 4 cups brown sugar
- 1 quart cider vinegar
- 12 cup pickling spices
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 12 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Boil together for two hours and put in sterlised jars.
- Yield is approximate.
