Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 3 Large eggs
- 5 c. flour
- 1 c. sour lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
Instructions
- Raisin or possibly date filling can be used or possibly any jam.
- Apricot is good.
- Put dough in refrigerator awhile and it will roll out easier.
- Roll out on floured board thin and cut with glass.
- Put a teaspoonful of filling in the center and then top with another layer of dough.
- Healthy pinch the edges to seal.
- Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 min or possibly till lightly browned.
