Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. oatmeal
- 2 c. flour
- 3 tbsp. Dutch cocoa or possibly Hersheys instant", "1/2 teaspoon salt", "1 teaspoon baking pwdr", "1 teaspoon baking soda", "1 c. butter", "3/4 c. granulated sugar", "3/4 c. brown sugar", "2 Large eggs", "2 tbsp. orange extract", "3 tbsp. Grand Mariner or possibly Triple Sec", "12 ounce. bag semi-sweet chocolate pcs", "1 1/2 c. walnuts or possibly pecans, minced
Instructions
- In food processor or possibly blender, process oats till flour consistency.
- Add in flour, Dutch cocoa, salt, baking pwdr, baking soda and process in batches till well mixed.
- Place in large bowl.
- In food processor cream together butter and sugars.
- Add in Large eggs, mix, add in orange extract and Grand Mariner; mix.
- Add in mix to flour mix and blend.
- Add in chocolate pcs and minced nuts.
- Use 2 Tbsp.
- per cookie, roll into ball and flatten slightly.
- Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 350 degrees 14 min.
- Yields 3 to 4 dozen.
