Ingredients
- 2 pound grnd beef
- 2/3 c. rice
- cooked
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 med. onion
- diced
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1 soup can of water
- 1 head cabbage
Instructions
- Remove hard core of cabbage.
- Simmer covered, removing outer leaves as they wilt.
- Mix together the grnd beef, rice, salt, Large eggs, onion and 2 Tbsp.
- of the tomato soup.
- Pour the remaining soup and a can of water into a 10 x 12 inch casserole.
- Place about a 1/4 c. of meat and rice mix on each cabbage leaf.
- Fold sides toward center and roll up.
- Place rolls in casserole.
- Bake, covered at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hrs.
- Remove cover for last 15 min.
- Serves 8.
