Ingredients

  • 500 grams Garbanzo beans (boiled until tender
  • or canned)
  • 350 grams Dark chocolate (melted in a double boiler)
  • 70 grams Almond flour
  • 150 grams Sugar
  • 4 Eggs (large)
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 200 grams Rum-soaked raisins
  • 100 grams Shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Combine the ingredients and blend them in a food processor (or blender or hand mixer).
  2. Once the ingredients are evenly blended, briskly stir in the remaining ingredients.
  3. Pour the batter into a cake pan greased with oil.
  4. Bake for 40 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 C.
  5. When the cake cools to the touch, transfer to a lidded container to moisten.
  6. I like to chill it before serving.
  7. They're also nice served with powdered sugar.
