Ingredients
- 1 pound carrots
- 1/2 pound snow peas
- 1 1/2 tbsp. finely chopped ginger
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
- Salt & freshly grnd pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut carrots into sticks about 2 inches long.
- Trim snow peas.
- Cook carrots till barely tender.
- Add in snow peas and drain immediately.
- Rinse under cool running water.
- In skillet, heat butter.
- Add in carrots, snow peas, ginger and sugar, tossing till sugar is dissolved and vegetables are warm.
- Season with salt and pepper.
