Ingredients

  • 1 lb asparagus
  • washed trimmed and cut into 3-inch lengths
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 12 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in skillet; stir in sugar until dissolved; add asparagus and saute about 2 minutes turning gently.
  2. Add broth; cover and cook over low heat 3 minutes; cook uncovered about 2 minutes until sauce thickens and asparagus is tender, serve.
