Fresh Tomato Sauce with Genoa Salami & Penne

Ingredients

  • 1/2 bags Penne
  • 4 ounces
  • weight Genoa Salami
  • Thinly Sliced And Cut In Half
  • 1/4 cups Diced Onion
  • 1 whole Small Hot Pepper
  • Or A Dash Of Dried Hot Pepper
  • 1 whole Red Pepper Chopped
  • 3 whole Large Ripe Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil
  • Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 dashes Black Pepper To Taste
  • 1/2 teaspoons Wondra Flour
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • For Topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare penne according to package directions.
  2. Chop up all your veggies.
  3. Saute onions, hot pepper and Genoa salami for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add red bell pepper and saute for another minute.
  5. Add tomatoes, basil, salt and black pepper.
  6. Let the sauce simmer till tomatoes break down and make a nice sauce.
  7. At the very end, sprinkle in Wondra flour until sauce reaches desired thickness.
  8. Serve sauce on top of penne, and top with Parmesan cheese.
