Ingredients
- 1/2 pounds Ground Turkey
- 1/2 cups Onions
- Diced
- 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 Tablespoon Franks Red Hot Sauce", "1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt", "1 teaspoon Pepper", "1 whole Whole Grain Baguette, Cut In Half Lengthwise", "2 Tablespoons Olive Oil", "5 cloves Garlic, Minced", "1 cup Fresh Mozzarella, Sliced", "1/2 cups Black Olives Sliced", "1/2 cups Purple Onions, Sliced", "1/2 cups Mushrooms, Sliced", "1/2 cups Parmesan Cheese, Shredded", "1/2 cups Microgreens
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 F.
- On a pizza stone or baking sheet, place French bread.
- Drizzle with olive oil and spread on the minced garlic.
- Bake for 5-10 minutes until crispy and starting to turn golden.
- Remove from oven, and set aside.
- Meanwhile, make your meatballs.
- In a mixing bowl add turkey, onions, bread crumbs, egg, Franks hot sauce, garlic salt and pepper.
- Mix with your hands until well combined.
- Form into small 1 inch sized balls.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
- Give it a good spray with cooking oil.
- Add in meatballs, and cook over medium high for 4 minutes per side.
- Flip, and cook another 4 minutes, until meatballs look golden and cooked through.
- Remove meatballs from skillet, and let them cool for 5 minutes.
- Slice them into thin slices.
- Sprinkle mozzarella on top of the bread.
- Top with sliced meatballs, olive, onions, and mushrooms.
- Sprinkle Parmesan over the top.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until veggies are tender/crisp and cheese is golden and bubbling.
- Remove from oven, cut into your preferred size of pieces and top with micro greens.
- Enjoy that thar pizza, dip her in some ranch too!
