Ingredients

  • 2 cups old fashioned oats or 2 cups quick oats
  • 2 cups oat bran or 2 cups oat flour
  • 2 cups soy flour (or combination of both) or 2 cups soy protein (or combination of both)
  • 2 cups spelt flour or 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups non-fat powdered milk
  • 12 cup Splenda sugar substitute
  • 8 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda

Instructions

  1. mix together and store in tight container.
  2. TO MAKE PANCAKES.
  3. 1 1/4 C mix.
  4. 1 C Water.
  5. 2 T.
  6. canola oil.
  7. 1 egg.
  8. mix together-- if you want it thicker add mix, if you want it thinner, add water.
  9. I like to add some cinnamon to taste.
  10. Spoon onto hot griddle and cook.
  11. Note-- the batter tends to thicken as it sits.
  12. TO MAKE WAFFLES.
  13. 1 1/2 C mix.
  14. 1 C water.
  15. 2 T.
  16. canola oil.
  17. 1 T.
  18. butter.
  19. 1 egg.
  20. separate egg and beat whites until thick.
  21. Mix remaining ingredients and fold in whites.
  22. Spoon into hot waffle maker.
  23. Note-- batter may seem watery, but the waffles turn out wonderful!
  24. Batter will thicken as it sits.
