Ingredients
- 2 lbs extra lean ground beef
- 1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (29 ounce) can red kidney beans (no liquid)
- 1 (29 ounce) can white kidney beans (no liquid)
- 1 medium onion
- diced
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- diced (add seeds for more spice)
- 1 cup mushroom
- diced
- 3 medium tomatoes
- chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 12 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Brown beef and drain fat.
- Add in remaining ingredients.
- Cook on low-medium heat for 2-3 hours.
- For faster cooking, cook on medium and add only one cup of water for about a hour.
