1 cup Sweet Baby Rays Hickory and Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce", "1 tsp vegatable oil", "1/2 cup beef broth", "1/2 apple cider vinegar", "1/4 cup brown sugar", "1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce", "1 tbsp chili powder", "1 tbsp ground mustard", "1 large onion (cut in half)", "1 1/2 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
Pour vegatable oil in slow cooker.
Place the pork roast into the slow cooker
Pour in the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and beef broth
In separate bowl, stir the brown sugar, ground mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, garlic, and thyme.
Mix into slow cooker
Add halved onions
Cover and cook on High until the roast shreds easily with a fork, 5 to 6 hours.
Take onion out after 2-3 hours, and add Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce after 4-5 hours
Remove the pork from the slow cooker, and shred the meat using two forks.
Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker, and stir the pork making sure it is mixed with all the sauce
Split buns, add butter, cheese, and some Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce, pulled pork and enjoy!
