Egg/Bacon Bake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon
  • fried & crumbled
  • 8 to 10 slices white bread
  • crusts removed
  • 2 c. Cheddar cheese
  • shredded
  • 1 doz. Large eggs
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. After frying bacon, grease a 9 x 13 inch pan with oil.
  2. Arrange bread to create single layer covering bottom of pan.
  3. Next layer is bacon; then sprinkle cheese.
  4. Combine Large eggs, lowfat milk, salt and pepper.
  5. Pour over everything.
  6. Cover and chill overnight.
  7. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour (uncovered).
  8. Don't overcook.
  9. Serves 10 to 12.
