Easy Simmered Turnips, Abura-age, and Chikuwa
Ingredients
- 2 Turnips
- 2 Chikuwa
- 1 Abura-age
- 1 Hanpen
- 400 ml Water
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 4 grams Dashi stock granules
Instructions
- Peel the turnips, and cut into wedges.
- Cut the chikuwa, abura-age, and hanpen into bite-sized pieces.
- Combine the water and ingredients marked in a pot and bring to a boil.
- Once it reaches a boil, simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes until done.
