Easy Pasta with Salami & Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fusilli pasta
  • uncooked
  • 8 slices OSCAR MAYER Hard Salami
  • cut into quarters
  • 3/4 lb. mushrooms
  • sliced
  • 4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese
  • softened
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
  2. Meanwhile, cook and stir salami in large skillet on medium-high heat 4 to 5 min.
  3. or until crisp.
  4. Remove salami from pan with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels.
  5. Discard all but 2 tsp.
  6. drippings from skillet.
  7. Add mushrooms to reserved drippings; cook 5 min.
  8. or until mushrooms are tender, stirring occasionally.
  9. Drain pasta, reserving 1 Tbsp.
  10. of the cooking water.
  11. Add cream cheese, reserved cooking water and nutmeg to mushrooms in skillet; cook and stir 1 min.
  12. or until cream cheese is melted and mixture is well blended.
  13. Add pasta; mix lightly.
