Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless
- cooked chicken (or possibly any chicken pcs)
- 4 c. chicken broth
- 1 (10 count) can biscuits
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring skinless chicken (breast and thigh meat pcs are best) to boil in 4 c. water.
- Add in seasonings, cover and simmer till meat is white (approximately 1 hour).
- Remove chicken to platter to cold.
- (Strain broth; if chicken not boned.)
- Remove meat from bone and place into broth.
- Simmer on low while adding 1 inch torn pcs of biscuit dough into chicken and broth.
- After all dough is added, bring to boil, stirring constantly, then cover and place on low heat for 10-15 min or possibly till thickened.
