Ingredients
- 12 Chicken drumettes
- 1 clove Garlic (grated)
- 1 tsp Ginger (grated)
- 450 ml Water
- 150 ml Sake
- 70 ml Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Bonito dashi stock granules
- 2 tbsp Mirin
Instructions
- Put the ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil.
- Poke holes in the drumettes with a toothpick etc.
- Add to the pot from Step 1, cover with a droplid, and simmer for about 30 minutes on medium-low heat.
- Add the mirin to Step 2 and simmer for another 10 minutes, then it's done.
