Delicious Chocolate Holiday Cookies

Ingredients

• 12 cup butter
• softened
• 1 12 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 4 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
• melted
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 34 cups flour
• 12 teaspoon baking soda
• 12 teaspoon baking powder
• 12 teaspoon salt
• 3 cups powdered sugar
• 13 cup butter
• softened
• 1 12 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 -2 tablespoon milk
• food coloring

Instructions

1. Cookies:.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
3. Cream together butter and sugar.
4. Add eggs and mix, then melted chocolate.
5. Blend sour cream and vanilla in a small bowl.
6. In another bowl, sift or thoroughly mix dry ingredients.
7. Alternate adding the sour cream blend and the dry ingredients to the mixture and mix until blended.
8. Drop by tablespoons on greased cookie sheets.
9. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes.

11. In a medium bowl, mix powdered sugar and butter with electric mixer on low speed or with a spoon.
12. Stir in vanilla and 1 Tbsp milk.
13. Gradually beat in just enough remaining milk to make frosting smooth and spreadable.
14. Add a few drops of food coloring until desired color is reached.
