Ingredients
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp corn starch (optional)
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp baking soda (make amount that recipe calls for)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1/2 tsp table salt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking Powder
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together until well combined.
- Use immediately.
- (Makes 1 tablespoon)
- Add in equal parts baking soda and lemon juice to equal the amount of yeast called for in the recipe.
- Mix together before adding to recipe.
- Blend 1 cup of sugar or the amount needed at high speed until the sugar turns to powder.
- Store in an air-tight container until needed.
- Mix all ingredients together well.
- Next shift the flour.
- Store in an airtight container until needed.
