Curried Chicken & Apple Pita

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 4 whole Skinless Chicken Thighs
  • 1/2 whole Red Onion
  • 1/2 cups Cilantro
  • 2 whole Granny Smith Apples
  • 1 teaspoon Curry Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala (Indian Blend Of Spices)
  • 1/2 cups Cottage Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Millk
  • 1 Tablespoon Plain Yoghurt
  • 4 whole Pitas
  • 1 pinch Salt And Pepper
  • 4 whole Pitas

Instructions

  1. Start by heating a pan with oil and cooking the chicken.
  2. Once cool, chop the chicken into smaller pieces.
  3. Chop the onion into smaller pieces.
  4. Chop the cilantro leaves and the apple into smaller pieces.
  5. Fry the onion until soft.
  6. Turn the heat off and add the curry and/or garam masala to the onion.
  7. Add the curried onion to the diced chicken and blend.
  8. Add the grated apple, chopped coriander, cottage cheese, milk, yoghurt and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Stir together to blend.
  10. Fill half a pita with the curried chicken and apple mixture and serve.
