Ingredients
- 2 pound beef round steak
- 1 tbsp. veg. oil
- 1 onion
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can condensed cream of celery soup
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can condensed cream of broccoli soup
- 1 teaspoon dry oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dry thyme
- 1 tbsp. garlic pwdr
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. red or possibly white wine
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Trim fat from steak.
- Cut meat into serving size portions.
- In a skillet brown meat in warm oil.
- Slice onion and place in bottom of 4 qt crock pot.
- Place browned meat atop onion.
- In a bowl combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat.
- Cook on high heat setting for 5 hrs.
- Serve over rice with steamed broccoli side dish.
- Serves 4.
