Ingredients
- 1-1/2 lb. round steak
- cut into chunks
- 1 onion
- cut into slivers
- 8 oz. sliced white mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic
- minced
- 1 tbsp. beef bouillon granules
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- Xanthan gum (optional)
Instructions
- Trim beef of fat, season with salt and pepper and cut into pieces.
- Place beef in crock pot and cover with beef granules, garlic, onions, mushrooms, and wine.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 8-10 hours or until tender.
- Thicken cooking liquid with xanthan gum if desired.
- Serve sauce with mashed cauliflower if desired.
