Crispy walnut meringue

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs (white)
  • 40 g sugar
  • 40 g walnuts (crushed)
  • 10 g starch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 110C/230F.
  2. Roast walnuts and crush them (or you can use nuts powder).
  3. Beat eggs white.
  4. Add sugar in 2-3 times separately, and beat well till it becomes stiff, like a fine sponge.
  5. Add starch and walnuts and mix gently.
  6. Put the meringue into a plastic bag with a metal mouth and wring it out to make nice shape.
  7. Put it into the oven and bake for about an hour, make it completely dry.
  8. Keep them with a strong desiccant.
