Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound beef
- round steak boneless
- 1 x salt and black pepper
- 1 each onions chopped
- 1 cup celery sliced
- 1 cup tomato juice seasoned
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 18 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 each green bell peppers chopped
- 1 1/2 cups okra fresh or 10 ounces frozen
- 4 ounces mushrooms
- canned sliced
- drained
- 1 x carrots cut into curls for garnish
- optional
Instructions
- Cut steak into strips, about 1/2 inch wide and 2 inches long.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place in crockpot with onion, celery, tomato juice, worcestershire sauce and garlic powder.
- Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Turn control to High.
- Add green pepper and partially thawed okra and mushrooms.
- Cover and cook on High for 30 minutes until okra is done.
- Garnish with carrot curls, if desired.
