Ingredients
- 1/4 cup orzo (rice shaped pasta)
- 3/4 cup white rice
- 1 tbsp finely chopped pimiento
- 1/2 tsp celery leaf flakes
- 1 tsp parsley flakes
- 1/4 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
- 1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
Instructions
- In a 2 quart saucepan, combine all ingredients except the salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, stirring often.
- Cover and remove from the heat.
- Let stand for 15 minutes.
- Fluff the rice mixture with a fork every 5 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
