Ingredients
- 4 pounds Frying Chicken
- Cut Up
- 1/4 cups Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Granulated Garlic
- 18 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- 1 cup Unsweetened Coconut
- Finely Grated
- 1 whole Egg
- Beaten
- 1/2 cups Butter
Instructions
- Wash and dry chicken pieces.
- Mix dry ingredients (except coconut) together.
- Dip chicken pieces in the egg then roll in the coconut, then in the seasoned flour.
- Melt butter in a baking dish large enough to hold the chicken pieces in one layer.
- Arrange chicken in dish and bake at 375F for 40 -45 minutes until chicken is browned, tender and juices run clear.
