Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans
- chopped
Instructions
- HEAT oven to 350F Spray bottom only of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with no-stick spray.
- Combine butter and sugar in large bowl; beat until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg.
- Add flour, cinnamon, salt and vanilla; mix well.
- Stir in 1/2 cup pecans.
- Press dough into bottom of pan.
- SPRINKLE remaining 1/2 cup pecans over dough; press in lightly.
- BAKE 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool completely.
- Cut into bars.
