Ingredients
- 2 cup Boiling water
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Bulghar wheat
- 1 cup Cooked grits
- warm
- 1 cup Minced cilantro
- 1/2 cup Minced green onion tops
- 1/4 cup Olive oil
- 1 Juice of 1or 2 lemons
- 1 Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Put boiling, salted water over bulghar in medium bowl.
- Let sit for 30 minutes to absorb water.
- Stir In warm grits and mix.
- Toss all other ingredients into grain mixture.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill to enhance flavor.
- Serve on lettuce as salad.
