Cilantro Tabouli Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Bulghar wheat
  • 1 cup Cooked grits
  • warm
  • 1 cup Minced cilantro
  • 1/2 cup Minced green onion tops
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1 Juice of 1or 2 lemons
  • 1 Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Put boiling, salted water over bulghar in medium bowl.
  2. Let sit for 30 minutes to absorb water.
  3. Stir In warm grits and mix.
  4. Toss all other ingredients into grain mixture.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Chill to enhance flavor.
  7. Serve on lettuce as salad.
