Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- 50 grams Unsalted butter
- 35 grams Granulated sugar
- 35 grams Cake flour
- 3 grams Baking powder
- 10 grams Cocoa powder
- 35 grams Chocolate
Instructions
- Sift the ingredients.
- Finely chop the chocolate, melt with butter, and mix.
- (I melted them in a microwave.)
- Add the egg and granulated sugar into a different bowl, then mix well with a whisk.
- Add the sifted ingredients, and mix some more.
- Add the melted butter and chocolate, then mix some more.
- Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 2 hours to overnight.
- Let the batter rest.
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Thinly grease the baking molds with the butter, dust with the cake flour, then pour in the batter with a spoon.
- (Before pouring the batter into the molds, mix it well again.)
- Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes at 180C and they're done.
- Remove from the pan, and let it cool.
- Using a bamboo skewer helps the madeleine come off nicely from the pan.
