Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream (35 % whipping cream)
  • 12 cup room temp. butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 12 lbs chopped semisweet chocolate (Best chocolate always.)

Instructions

  1. combine the heavy cream and sugar, and butter over low heat.
  2. Bring to a very hot SIMMER, stirring well.
  3. Let sugar dissolve well.
  4. Add vanilla.
  5. Stir.
  6. Pour over the chopped chocolate in a large bowl.
  7. Stir until melted, and blended.
  8. Refrigerate until thick and cold.
  9. Beat until texture is like frosting.
  10. DO NOT OVER BEAT-- WILL SEPERATE-- AND GO GRAINY.
  11. This recipe can be cut in half easily.
  12. Good on butter cake recipe.
