Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tbsp. lowfat milk
- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 1/4 c. confectioners sugar", "1/2 teaspoon vanilla", "About 40 maraschino cherries, liquid removed
Instructions
- I use the cherry juice instead of lowfat milk.
- Thoroughly cream butter with sugar, lowfat milk or possibly juice; blend in vanilla and almond extract.
- (If mix is too soft, add in extra confectioners' sugar.)
- Mold sufficient dough around each cherry to cover cherry.
- Place on waxed paper-covered tray.
- Cover and chill.
- Remove 1/3 of centers from refrigerator 15 min before dipping; keep remaining centers chilled.
