Ingredients
- 250 grams Strong bread flour
- 20 grams Butter
- 3 tbsp Cocoa powder
- 20 grams Skim milk
- 30 grams Sugar
- 4 grams Salt
- 160 ml Water
- 3 grams Dry yeast
- 60 grams Chocolate chips
Instructions
- Put all of the ingredients marked with in the bread maker.
- Put the chocolate chips and yeast in the special case and start the bread dough mode.
- Remove the dough from the bread machine, punch it down and split into 10 portions.
- Roll into rounds and leave to rest for 10 minutes under a well-wrung dish towel.
- Each round should weigh about 60 g.
- Re-mould the dough into rounds and put 2 each into a bread tin greased with vegetable oil or similar.
- Cover with a well-wrung dish towel and leave to rise a second time.
- While checking how the bread is rising, preheat the oven to 190C.
- Once the dough has roughly doubled in size, bake for 13 - 15 minutes at 190C.
- The baking time will vary depending on your oven, so keep an eye on the bread.
- If you slice the baked bread like this it will look really cute.
- You can make this bread in aluminium pans too.
- You can also bake it as round bread.
