Chinese Style Peanut Butter
Ingredients
- 3 cups peanut oil
- 1 cup raw shelled peanuts
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a heavy skillet.
- When the oil is hot, add the peanuts and fry for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Drain.
- In a food processor, fitted with a metal blade, puree the peanuts and 2 tablespoons of the oil until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove and cool
