Chilies Rellenos (Baked) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cube butter
  • 1 pound cheese (shredded)
  • 1 sm. can of condensed lowfat milk
  • 7 ounce. can green chilies (remove seeds)
  • 8 Large eggs
  • 4 tbsp. flour

Instructions

  1. Heat 1/4 cube butter into a 2 qt baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle on flour.
  3. Lay chilies, spread open, over the flour.
  4. Layer the cheese and rest of chilies.
  5. Dot with remaining flour and butter.
  6. Beat Large eggs well, add in lowfat milk and pour over the layers.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees about 25 min or possibly till set.
