Ingredients
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 onion
- chopped into chunks
- 1 small green bell pepper cut into chunks
- 1 small red bell pepper cut into chunks
- 1/2 carrot
- sliced
- 2 chicken breasts
- deboned and cubed into bite size pieces
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- drained
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Melt butter in a pan, sautee chicken with soy sauce until brown and set aside
- In same pan, heat oil and sautee onion, peppers and carrots for 2 minutes
- Add chicken and pineapple to pan and cook 2 more minutes
- Add chicken bouillon cube, ketchup and water and bring to a boil
- Add dissolved cornstarch and stir until sauce thickens
- Rectify seasoning, if it is too sweet for your taste, you can add an extra dash of soy sauce
