Ingredients
- 3 medium onions finely chopped
- 1 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 4 medium tomato chopped
- 1 large fresh lemon
- 1 kg chicken
- 1 small cream
- 6 tbsp malaie boti masala (spice)
- 3 medium Green Chillies
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup cooking oil
Instructions
- Deep fry onion, add garlic ginger paste and tomatoes.
- Add green chillies.
- Keep stirring until golden brown and perfectly mixed
- Add chicken and 1.5 glass of water so the chicken gets soft.
- keep it at medium heat for about 10-15 minutes.
- Check if the chicken is soft.
- Now add Malaie boti spice.
- You can use individual spices (ground red pepper.salt.
- coriander etc) but it is better if you get a pack of malaie boti spice from any Asian cash n carry.
- Add lemon juice, soy sauce and vinegar .
- keep stirring and leave for 5 minutes
- Add cream.
- Keep stirring.
- Please note don't add too much cream as it will sweeten the dish.
- Just add enough so it looks like thick gravy.
- Taste it and add more spice if desired.
- Almost done.
- Medium heat 2-3 minutes
- Garnish according to your preference.
- Then enjoy with Nan, roti or Rice.
