Ingredients
- 2 cups Dark Sweet Cherries
- Pitted And Diced (frozen Also Works)
- 2 cups Rolled Oats
- Certified Gluten Free If Necessary
- 1/4 teaspoons Fine-grain Kosher Salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 3 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- Melted And Cooled
- 13 cups Maple Syrup
- 2 cups Milk (recommended: 1%)
- 1 whole Egg (large)
- 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- 6 teaspoons Almond Butter
Instructions
- 1.
- Preheat oven to 375 F. 2.
- Grease the bottom of six 8-ounce ramekins with cooking spray.
- 3.
- Divide 1 1/2 cups of the cherries into the bottom of the ramekins.
- 4.
- Combine the oats, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Divide it among the ramekins (1/3 cup per ramekin).
- 5.
- Combine the cooled brown butter, maple syrup, milk, egg, and vanilla in a bowl with a whisk.
- 6.
- Divide and pour the egg mixture over the oats in the ramekins (about 1/2 cup of liquid per ramekin).
- 7.
- Place the remaining 1/2 cup cherries on top of the mixture in each ramekin and add a teaspoon of almond butter in the center.
- 8.
- Bake for about 30 minutes until just set and golden on top.
- Serve warm with some milk or vanilla yogurt poured over the top.
