Ingredients
- 36 tomatoes
- peeled
- chopped
- 8 green peppers or 8 red peppers
- chopped
- 10 onions
- chopped
- 2 cups cider vinegar
- 5 tablespoons salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 -2 teaspoon clove
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 14 cups sugar
Instructions
- Cook all ingredients, except sugar, over low heat, stirring often, until nearly thick enough, about 3 - 5 hours.
- Then add sugar.
- Stir regularly until thickened.
