Ingredients

  • 1 bn basil
  • washed
  • dry
  • & stemmed.
  • 4 Tbsp. (1/2 stick Acan) unsalted Butter.", "1 Tbsp. Extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil", "2 lb Green cabbage, finely Shredded.", "1/2 lb Bok choy (Chinese, like Silver beet), finely Shredded. Salt & pepper.

Instructions

  1. Tightly roll the basil leaves lengthwise and with a sharp knife, slice thinly to create long, thin strips.
  2. In a saute/fry pan, heat the butter with the extra virgin olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Combine cabbage and bok choy and saute/fry till just soft.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Stir in the basil.
  6. Toss till proportionately mixed.
  7. Serve on a platter side by side with mashed potatoes.
  8. Good with pork fillet!
