1 1/2 c. Pillsburys Best All-Purpose Flour*, sifted", "1/2 tsp Soda", "2 x Large eggs", "2 c. Firmly packed brown sugar", "1/2 c. Butter, melted", "1 ounce Unsweetened chocolate, melted", "1 tsp Frenchs Vanilla
3/4 c. Funstens Nuts, minced", "1 ounce Chocolate, melted", "1 tsp Butter
Instructions
BAKE at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 min.
MAKES about 3 dozen.
Sifttogether the flour and soda.
Beat Large eggs till foamy.
Gradually add in brown sugar and continue beating till well blended.
Stir in 1/2 c. butter, melted, unsweetened chocolate, and vanilla.
Add in the sifted dry ingredients and nuts.
Mix thoroughly.
Turn into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 25 to 35 min.
(For a very moist bar, bake only 25 min.)
Cold.
Drizzle with a mix of melted chocolate and 1 tsp.
butter.
Cut into bars or possibly squares.
*For use with Pillsbury's Best Self-Rising Flour, omit soda.
