Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 c. onions minced
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1/3 c. brown sugar packed
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili pwdr
- 8 ounce sauerkraut (canned) liquid removed
- 2 c. turkey light meat
- skinless cooked and cubed
- 8 whl hamburger buns
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
- Add in onions and cook till tender.
- Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, chili pwdr, and paprika.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add in sauerkraut.
- Cover and reduce heat.
- Simmer 10 min.
- Add in turkey.
- Simmer, uncovered, till turkey is heated through and sauce has thickened.
- Serving Ideas : Serve on toasted buns.
