Brussel Sprouts With Maple/Bacon
Ingredients
- 6 slices maple bacon
- 1 shallot
- Brussels sprout
- 12 cup maple syrup
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- trim sprouts and parboil for 8 minute cook bacon in skillet until crisp.remove bacon.set aside.
- mince shallot,saute in bacon fat until tender.
- add brussel sprouts and saute until browned add salt and pepper to taste.
- pour in maple syrup and let reduce over moderate heat a few minutes.pour into dish, crumble bacon on top.
