Ingredients
- 8 slc Italian bread day old prefered
- 2 cl garlic
- large
- cut in half extra virgin extra virgin olive oil salt fresh grnd black pepper
- 16 x tomato slices
- fresh
- 8 x basil leaves
- fresh
Instructions
- Toast the bread lightly and rub with garlic while still warm.
- Season with salt and lots of pepper, and pour sufficient oil on each slice to soak thoroughly.
- Place two slices of tomato on each piece of bread and top with a basil leaf.
- Sprinkle with Parmigiano-Reggiano and serve immediately.
