Ingredients
- 2 can 15 ounce Van Camps pork n beans
- 4 tsp Brown sugar
- 1 sm Onion
- minced
- 6 slc Bacon
- sliced
- 1 tsp Bacon drippings
- 1/8 c. Catsup
- 1 tsp Prepared mustard
- 1 tsp Liquid Barbecue Smoke if oven cooking
Instructions
- Cook bacon over medium low heat till just cooked.
- Add in onion and saute/fry till onion is clear.
- Drain bacon grease reserving one Tbsp..
- Combine all ingredients in an oven safe casserole dish and bake at 225 for three hrs, or possibly preferably, hickory smoke for 3-1/2 hrs.
